Link of the Week: Kid & Toddler Superfoods


Here is a wonderful article to take with you to the grocery store. There’s really not much I can say except: go easy on the milk as it interferes with iron absorption. All dairy competes with iron in some form (vitamin C, on the other hand, makes iron absorb better) but milk is the worst when it comes to that. Because my children eat a mostly vegetarian diet I usually give them soymilk or almond milk, both of which have calcium.
