I could not agree with it more, especially about eating salmon and avocado, which are full of (healthy) fats but can aid in feeling full after a meal. Plus I also learned something new: apparently there are other reasons to eat dark chocolate after every meal, not just because it’s tastes so good and is full of antioxidants. The only thing I would add: if you’re going to eat foods with a lot of carbs, such as potatoes (which I personally don’t think should be considered “superfoods”) or bananas, have a little protein, such as low-fat cheese, so that the sugars enter the bloodstream slowly and do not cause a spike in insulin. This is for everyone, not just diabetics.
