Erbaviva: Organic Skincare for Your Baby

Standard

erbavivaBathing your baby can be a beautiful and relaxing bonding experience. When it comes to some babies, however, like my own, bathtime is far from a relaxing experience. Regardless, it’s still nice to create a calming atmosphere, use a non-toxic shampoo, a plush towel and a soothing body lotion. Erbaviva is a company dedicated to organic skincare and has an all-natural line for babies and mommies-to-be.

Erbaviva means in Italian “herbs that are alive”. All Erbaviva products are made of the highest quality organic and wild crafted essential oils. They are free from artificial fragrances, dyes and chemical additives. They are not tested on animals and Erbaviva uses 100% renewable energy to produce them. I recently received some samples for review and used them during and after my son’s bath. The Baby Shampoo has a mild and pleasant scent. It contains aloe, Oregon grape extract, lavender and chamomile, among other natural ingredients. The Erbaviva towel is so plush, I didn’t even have to dry my baby – as soon as I wrapped it around him it absorbed all of the water and he was ready for a diaper and body lotion.towelI loved the Baby Lotion – it had a very delicate scent and was rich, but absorbed immediately, which is important to me since my baby can get squirmy and try to get up as soon as he can. So I usually just put the lotion on quickly and dress him as fast as I can before he toddles off to the living room to see what his siblings are up to. The Baby Lotion contains sunflower seed oil, jojoba oil, aloe, shea butter and mandarin orange peel oil, among other natural ingredients.

Erbaviva is sold at high-end spas and specialty retailers. Click here to locate a dealer near you.unnadI was not compensated for this post. I received samples.
