Movie Review: The Hero of Color City

Standard

photo02Although Fall is one of the best times to go see movies in the theater, there seems to be a shortage of kid-friendly movies right now. I’m talking about G-rated, wholesome movies that you can take a toddler to and not worry about violence or inappropriate content. When I received an invitation from The MOMS to attend a screening of The Hero of Color City I was excited – I had no idea a toddler-friendly movie was coming out and I was really looking forward to seeing it with my kids. Kids’ Film Review: The Pirate Fairy

THE PIRATE FAIRYAre your kids fans of Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow fairies? Disney’s new Tinker Bell movie is out now on Blu-ray/DVD and is a delightful movie for young kids. Unique Family Film: Adventures of the Penguin King

Standard

PENGUINKING_FinalPoster-IP8bI recently saw a really unique film: The Adventures of the Penguin King. It looks like a documentary but it is narrated by Tim Allen so, as you can expect, there’s a lot of humor involved. Seeing the life of a penguin from this perspective is especially great for kids because it gives them a chance to see how animals live in a place none of us will likely ever travel to. It’s also great for parents because it shows how animals and humans are similar in many ways since they deal with many issues that human parents deal with. Read the rest of this entry

I remember feeling like part of a group in a very unique and interactive movie experience. Last week I had a similar feeling when I attended a screening of The Little Mermaid Second Screen Live. The screening was synched to an app and my 6.5-year-old daughter and I had so much fun watching and feeling like we were part of the movie. Read the rest of this entry

HTY GOLD Intensive Face & Neck Serum: The Natural Way to Fight Anti-Aging

Standard

faceandneckserum_2As a mom of three young kids I find myself so focused on taking care of their needs that I am constantly forgetting to take care of myself. We leave for a day out and I forget to pack myself lunch. Or a hat. I’m just so preoccupied with the kids that I often neglect myself. When it comes to my nighttime routine, I often forget to take care of a very important part: my neck. At 38, my neck looks fine but what will it look like when I’m 50? I recently discovered a neck cream that I think is the answer to turkey neck: HTY GOLD Intensive Face & Neck Serum. Do I sound over-confident? Here’s why:
