Movie Review: The Hero of Color City

photo02Although Fall is one of the best times to go see movies in the theater, there seems to be a shortage of kid-friendly movies right now. I’m talking about G-rated, wholesome movies that you can take a toddler to and not worry about violence or inappropriate content. IMG_8325Hard to believe that my youngest is no longer a baby and will be turning two next month! As he’s getting older, bigger and becoming a little boy we felt it was time to update his crib bedding. Skip Hop is a brand known for its efficient diaper bags and adorable kids’ backpacks but they actually also have a terrific line of bedding sets. Healthy Food for Your Kids While on Vacation? The Westin Hotels Have it!

IMG_8743When my family and I go on vacations I’m a little more relaxed about what they eat. I try to focus on allowing them to enjoy their vacation and letting them have special treats, but I do know what eating loads of junk food can do to the body and brain of a young child. I found out about Westin Hotels’ new kids menu and was invited with my children for a cooking lesson at the Westin Grand Central in Manhattan. Tune in to Sprout for Their New Show, Astroblast!

The show, based on the book series of the same name, has been produced by Scholastic Media and is an adorable and unique show currently playing seven days a week.
