I’ve recently been to a Children’s Place store in Manhattan and got a chance to see what Spring and Summer with my kids will be like – bursting with all colors of the rainbow! There are just happy colors everywhere! I recently went to a blogger shopping event and got a bunch of clothes for my kids in pink, yellow, light blue and orange. Now I just need the temps to go up by about 10 degrees and I’m all set! Spring is finally here and my family & I looking forward to being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine. I like to dress my kids in comfortable, bright clothes and I’m always prepared for the occasional Spring shower. My youngest will be 18 months in a couple of weeks which is bittersweet for me because it’s my last baby. While I’m enjoying watching him grow and learn new words every day, I’m also a little sad to be done with this phase. But since he’s still small I can enjoy the little things, like dressing him however I want. My daughter loves playing with dolls, in particular dolls that look like little girls. She loves playing with them as if they’re in school or ballet class. In other words, dolls for her are a way to act out issues from her life since dolls are really a reflection of her. As a mom of three young kids who are constantly growing out of their clothes I find it a challenge to be able to afford to dress them all fashionable. I have a daughter going into first grade, a son going into pre-k and a baby who wears mostly hand-me-downs, but who could use a couple of new (re: unstained) items. So I want to get the most bang out of my buck and the new brand, Ruum, is a place to start if you’re into both fashion and saving money.
